History of Domaine Boucabeille : creation of a vineyard, Régis Boucabeille, Forca Real, organic winegrowing, Jean Boucabeille, great wines from Roussillon
The Boucabeille Domaine, a conquest of shist hills.
Rene-Jean Camo creates a great vintage in Roussillon: planting an incredible experimental vineyard up the Forca Real hill on a plot of 12 hectares, between 150 and 400 meters.
Resumption of vines with Boucabeille family.
Great Fire of Hill Força Réal
Planting a forest of 23 hectares around the vine.
First harvest of Jean Boucabeille, eldest son of Regis Boucabeille.
Certification in organic farming. Winemaking indigenous yeasts. Construction of the new winery Domaine. And the first winemaking in the new winery of Domaine Boucabeille.
Conversion to organic agriculture
Planting an experimental vineyard 400m above sea level near a orri.
Initiation of a large planting program to sustain production in organic farming and promote biodiversity.
Another fire on Força Réal: destruction of our forest. The experimental vineyard is surrounded by fire, but saved.
650 new cork oak trees planted, in the same year, to expand our forest for the production of corks for all our wine bottles.
We have enlarged the cellars to increase our capacity of ageing in barrels and bottles
We have built our own station to treat the used waters from the cellar. So we can use now the water that has been cleaned to wash machines or irrigate the olive trees
